Celme de Pena Bicada, a white wine from 2017, is Celme’s take on superlative whites. It is a blend of 50% Treixadura, 35% Godello, 8% Albariño and 7% Loureira.
The different varieties are harvested separately to guarantee the best individual contribution to the final blend. The result is a complex wine with a long persistent finish that combines the fresh fruit of Treixadura and Godello with the subtle and delicate floral notes of Albariño and Loureira. Its crisp acidity guarantees a great capability to develop over time.
It ages for a short period in contact with lees with minimal stirring and no malolactic fermentation. The coupage of varieties takes place two months before bottling.
The color is limpid yellow with a hint of green.
